SPIRIT OF YOUTH SPORTS AWARDS
The WVI Dolphin Foundation’s Spirit of Youth Sports Awards are presented to men and women who use youth sports to improve our communities, enrich the lives of boys and girls in their charge, and embody the values learned through sports in their everyday lives. Seven local heroes were honored on Thursday, November 18 at the Marriott’s Residence Inn Long Island/East End.
We initially launched the awards program in 2019 as part of our Sports For Good initiative – and proceeds from this event go to underserved youth and Blue and Gold Star children through the WVI Dolphin Foundation’s Leadership and Life Skills Mentorship Program.
Our program modules are led by professional athletes, business leaders, and military personnel to combine compelling stories of overcoming adversity with the character development curriculum offered by the U.S. Medal of Honor Foundation.
Accordingly, sponsorships and tickets are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

Our 2021 event was a highlight of our year, and we expect greater things at our next annual Spirit of Youth Sports Awards event!
As one of the WVI Dolphin Foundation’s major fundraisers for our developing Leadership and Life Skills Mentorship Program, we see a great opportunity to further activating our partnerships with a wonderful cause that means so much to Long Islanders AND promoting direct networking between professionals and local high net worth families.
