Writer: Prepare a quarterly newsletter for our network on our results, events, and more.
Fundraising and Grant Writer: Donate your expertise to advise the WVI DF on how to achieve new funders and participate in the implementation process.
Social Media Coordinator: Upload our content on a weekly basis to appropriate platforms.


Leadership Mentor Program
Speaker: Lead a module with your career expertise. Introduce our mentees to career opportunities in your field. Modules are planned in advance, so there is plenty of time to prepare.
Mentor: Attend our modules and become a hands-on mentor for our students. Lead module exercises, gather mentee information, and advise mentees on their future.
Recruiter: Source new, underserved high school students and mentees from military families to participate in the program. Organize their attendance and follow up.
Veterans and First Responders
Annual Event Coordinator: Help the WVI DF plan and execute their annual Fleet Week lunch each May in NYC.
Event Staff: On the day of the event, distribute brochures on tables, greet and check in guests, maintain attendance, and more.
Fundraise: Obtain new sponsors.
