OUR MISSION
The WVI Dolphin Foundation inspires those who are fortunate to pivot toward “give back” – wherein they can utilize their prestige, wealth, and power to make a disproportionate impact on underserved youth and veterans.
We use the funds raised to support underserved and Blue and Gold Star youth via our Leadership Mentor Program and to Veterans who receive our scholarships. We also partner with small charities aligned with us for specific projects and channel donations to their causes.
BECOME A BENEFACTOR
We seek gracious benefactors from High Net Worth individuals, corporations and foundations who share our vision and passion – to provide us with the capability to achieve the sustainable, long term organizational goals and programs necessary to accomplish our mission.
OUR LEADERSHIP AND LIFE SKILLS MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The WVI Dolphin Foundation drives its contagious virtuous cycle of “give-back” by providing Career Development opportunities and STEM exposures to underserved youth, Blue and Gold-Star children – ages 15 – 18 through our core modules:
- Career Development: Job Readiness
- STEM: Sustainability - Climate Change & Renewable Energy
- Career Development: Networking
- STEM: Info-tech - Cyber Security & Artificial Intelligence
*We welcome referrals from corporate allies to fund and develop additional STEM modules in the 2024 year for Aerospace & Aviation, Manufacturing and more.
Our individual 2023 modules provide our mentees with the following concrete deliverables:
-
A succinct overview of STEM career paths and their financial rewards
-
Clarity on the training and specific resources required to attain success through networking and job readiness
-
Hands on professional guidance to co-create individual career action plans
-
Upon the completion of 3 modules, mentees earn Leadership Certificates that will boost college / trade school applications and job opportunities
-
Certificate Awardees receive direct introductions to potential corporate employers sourced from our robust WVI Dolphin Foundation ecosystem.
